SF Fall Fest 2010 – a gourmet extravaganza

Oct 10, 2010 | 0 comments

My husband, Eric, and I decided to check out the SF Fall Fest at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco yesterday.  Who could pass up an afternoon of amazing food, great wines, live music…and all on a 80 degree sunny day by the waterfront?

As we expected, it was well worth the visit…Some of our favorite restaurants were there.  DOSA, Village Pub, Perbacco, RN74, Spruce and even Masa’s.

The food was great, and made better by a bunch of good wine, of course! Surprising was the wine from Calistoga Ranch — both the Chardonnay and Merlot were delicious. We also couldn’t stop visiting Silver Oak, who was not only pouring their renowned Cabernet, but also the Twomey Merlot that we really like. Westwood Cellars and Grgich were also great, and we were pretty blown away by Small Vines Winery…

Much fun all around, and already looking forward to next year!

Bon appetit!
